Christine Henson

Christine Ira Henson, BSN, RN, is the Director of Nursing (DON) for Quiescence Congregate Living Health Facility and the Care Home By RNs network of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE).

 

Christine started her journey in healthcare as a caregiver at Care Home By RNs in 2015. After she passed her board to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and when Senior Care Clinic House Calls started offering medical house calls to homebound seniors, Christine became its founding Practice Manager. Concurrently, for eight years, Christine has also helped manage a primary care practice specializing in Internal Medicine.

 

Christine brings expertise in sub-acute care (managing tracheostomy and ventilator care), administrative skills, and effectively leading a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LVNs (Licensed Vocational Nurses), CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants), RTs (Respiratory Therapists), PTs (Physical Therapists), and OTs (Occupational Therapists) to optimize patient-centered care.

 

Christine is working on becoming certified as a case manager, as her expertise and experience include processing patient admissions and safe discharges.

 

Christine is a proud wife and mom to two sons: a soon-to-be CPA (certified public accountant) and a US Navy sailor in active duty.
