Andrew W. Nangalama, MD, PhD

Andrew W. Nangalama, MD, PhD, is the Medical Director for Quiescence CLHF. Dr Nangalama has a background in family medicine and urgent care services and manages the American River Urgent Care. Dr. Nanagalama has nearly two decades of medical experience, and earned both a medical degree and a doctoral degree at the University of California-Davis, graduating with distinction. He is a diplomat of the American College of Physicians, a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, and maintains board certification in family practice medicine. Before opening American River Urgent Care, Dr. Nangalama served as medical director of multiple skilled nursing facilities. Active in his profession, he maintains memberships with the San Joaquin Medical Society, Sacramento Sierra Medical Society, and the California Academy of Family Practice Medicine.
